What was that? I thought I felt something...

Oh! It was all you chicks smacking me with a tag!! I'm going to assume those were loving taps. ;-) I was tagged by Megan, Heather, bella*tessa, and Pepperina Press. I'm to tell 7 random things about myself.

1. I love almost anything Disney. I have a huge Mickey Mouse collection with some limited edition statuettes and antique Mickeys. I'm a Mickey snob, though. None of that silly baby Mickey stuff. Only the classic Mickey will do.

2. Speaking of snob... I'm a chocolate snob. I only like dark chocolate and typically the more expensive, the better. A few years ago for Valentine's Day my hubby bought me that horrible waxy cheap Palmer's chocolate. I choked a piece down, then had to tell him that it was disgusting and set him on the right path. I did it all in a loving way, of course... After all it WAS Valentine's Day!

3. Hmmm, snob fact number 3. (I wonder if I'm snobby about 7 things! We'll see...) I'm a restaurant snob. I worked in restaurants for years, in everything from a truck stop to a 5 star restaurant with world renowned chefs. So I have a big problem dining in chain restaurants like Applebee's. I always find the food to be bland and it all tastes the same. The service has always been mediocre, at best. (This is just my experience!) I'd choose a nicer restaurant anyday. If I'm going to eat in a chain joint, I'd rather just have fast food where I KNOW the service and food are not going to be up to par.

4. I'm a hair snob. Those who know me in real life know that I'm pretty frugal. I can shop Payless and Forever21 with the best of them. I love thrift store hunting (might go today in fact), and I'm all about the clearance rack! But the one thing I'll splurge on every single time is a good haircut. I've never ever had a cheap haircut that I liked and didn't have to have 'repaired' within a week or two.

5. I'm a coffee snob. I can't handle it strong or black. I only like it with lots of milk or cream, loads of sweetener, and some sort of froo-froo hazlenut/chocolate/almond/toffee type flavor. Sadly there is no Starbuck's near me, but in all honesty I'm too frugal to spend money there daily anyway.

6. I'm a nail snob. I'm a licensed nail tech and while it's been years since I had beautiful artificial nails, I always have to have them looking nice. If one breaks, the rest must be cut to the same length. If they are polished and it chips, all of that polish must come off! Each finger has to match the other 9 at all times.

7. I'm a childbirth snob. I gave birth to each of my 3 kids using no medication at all, but self hypnosis for pain management instead. Now don't get me wrong, I have no problem at all with other women using epidurals! But I was fortunate enough to have my first delivery be all natural and from then on, I was set on only doing it that way. (stubborn much?..) I absolutely refused any form of medication and was bound and determined that those babies would come out naturally. And they did.

So there you have it, in all it's snobby glory. ;-) (Really I had to stretch that. I'm actually quite a nice person, but maybe a bit particular so I had to stick with the snob theme once I started it.)

Now I'm tagging 7 random people from my links list... Danielle, Felicia, Melissa, Erin, Linda, Jen, and Morgan.

Ok I'll do mine here since you're the ONLY person who reads my blog LOL

1~I'm very picky about what my kids wear, they HAVE to match and look nice. I'm addicted to little polos and jean shorts in the summer for them, and in the winter I love faded jeans and hoodies LOL Hubby thinks I'm nuts. I hate the little frilly cutsy baby clothes, even as newborns I dressed my boys in "big boy styles"

2~ I'm a bigtime procrastinator LOL I wait to write papers until the last day or two. I wrote out a 9 page paper in 3 hours for my last class and got 100% on it in college. I write pretty good under pressure.

3~ I LOVE diet coke....can't get enough.

4~ I would have 12 kids if I could afford it. I love having babies and everyone else thinks I'm nuts! We are due with #4 in August and this is it for us.

5~ I've done labor in about every way imagineable LOL My first I was induced with no pain meds for 36 1/2 hours and ended in C section. My second I was an induced vbac with no pain meds. My third was completely natural with no meds and it was AMAZING. This one I don't know what I'll do yet LOL I had a spinal for my c section but not sure if I'd want an epidural. I like being able to get up as soon as they are done with me and get a shower.

5~ I love playing with pictures on the computer. I make graphics, touch up photos, and could sit for hours making signatures.

6~ I have a tattoo on my lower back that I drew and it has my kids initials on it. I have to add the newest one after he gets here too :)

7~ I'd give anything for a girls weekend away with no kids and no hubby's. Only I have yet to find anyone that would go with me! LOL

first snob theme I've ever seen. original, I like it! :)

I won't drink coffee unless it's a teeny tiny real macchiato in Italy. Never got the hang of the rest.

ps - no starbucks?? I thought they'd covered every inch of america... I'm in seattle, I'll send you 50 of ours and won't notice they're gone.
