A little late, but it's Show and Tell time!

There is No Place Like Home is hosting Friday Show and Tell. You find something of interest around your home and well, show and tell about it! Fun, right?


The thing I wanted to show you this week is this cool oil lamp thing. We received this from The Man's grandparents, who were avid antique collectors and absolutely loved it. I don't know anything about it other than they told us, "It's very very old!!"... I took that to mean it's even older than many of their other antiques, which were also quite lovely, but they never put any emphasis on the age of them. There is a mirror reflector plate that goes behind the lamp, but I like it better without. I love the deep turquoise color of this!
