We survived. Not everything on my to-do list got done, but that's okay. Santa arrived and brought The Girl a guitar and The Boy an action figure, just as they'd requested. The meal was certainly not picture perfect, but it was perfect for our family. The Baby slept through the night on Christmas Eve, which I considered a Christmas miracle. The house still has bits of wrapping paper tossed in a few corners and under a few tables and that just shows me that everyone had a great time. There are a handful of pie crumbs and half eaten pieces of fudge remaining.

Our holiday was perfectly imperfect in every way. I hope yours was as perfect!

Now seems like the perfect time to relax for a day or so and pamper yourself. That's what I'm going to do!
