Tag and I'm famous

I'm it! My blogging BFF Heidi tagged me the other day and I'm just now getting to it.

The rules of the tag are as follows:
1.Post the rules on your blog.
2.Write six random things about yourself.
3.Tag six people at the end of your post.
4. If you are tagged, JUST DO IT, and pass the tag along.

1. I love sleep. Love it. If I could sleep 12 hours a day I would, and probably still want a nap in the afternoon. People don't sleep enough.

2. I won't wear the classic combo of black and white together. It's lovely on other people but I feel like it washes me out even more and just looks blah. I'm a color kind of girl. Even if I'm wearing a black top, I like to have colorful jewelry or something. I crave color.

3. I've always prided myself on being a bit of an oddball. I'm strange and I'm really okay with that! Really. Except for those times when I don't fit in and wish I did. But other than that I'm okay with it. ;-)

4. I've always hated ice in my drinks. I was always the one to order "diet pepsi, no ice please". Until my last pregnancy and I craved ice something awful. And now I still love it and can't live without it. I load every drink I have down with ice these days, coffee included. LOOOOVE ice!

5. When I laugh really hard I sound like an old lady crying. I do my best to not do it in public, but it's pretty entertaining for those around. "BooooooHooooooooHoooooo!!!!!" Really. Not classy, not ladylike, but whatever. My brother's greatest joy in life is to get me into the old-lady-crying laugh. And when I hear myself do it, I can tell how obsurd it sounds and it makes me laugh harder.

6. Athletic shoes/sneakers/tennis shoes should be worn for workouts only. There, I said it. They should never be worn in public, with jeans or even worse, dresses! They're meant for the gym or sports only. And I'm the expert on fashion as I sit here in my men's pajama pants and The Man's old beer tshirt, with day old makeup and coffee breath, blogging. So you should listen to my expertise. I'm such a fashionista.

Now I need to tag one person. I know the rules say 6, but on my blog I make my own rules (muahahaha, evil laughter not old-lady-crying laugh) so I only tag one person when these things come around. I hope she doesn't hate me for doing this, but I'm tagging my stalkee Megan. I stalk her, and she hasn't officially asked me to leave her alone yet so I haven't.

I've been on the hunt for the Pediped ads showing my hair flower, that I've mentioned here before. Well guess what? Here it is! YAY! It should be in numerous parenting magazines. I LOVE the little model Shea, love the layout with the vintage suitcases, love the saying, and love the shoes of course! Thanks to Dana, Shea's mom for sending me the picture.

ps. Did you know they say you crave ice when you are pregnant if your iron is low? Just a little trivia.

I don't like ice in my drink either - no problem with room temp coke. And I apparently sound like an old MAN with a bit of asthma when I laugh, so you're one up on me (^_^)
Congrats on your fame - wahoo!!!

ya know, i've never been one to wear tennis shoes out of the house (well, 'cept for my morning walks). i could just never bring myself to do it, and i'm not exactly sure why. maybe subconsciously i feel the way you do about it.

the ad is great.
(i gave your hair flowers a shout out in last sunday's blog post)

I used to crave ice REALLY badly. I was told it was due to an iron deficiency. Yay right.

Several mos later (a couple of mos ago) I had some lab work. Guess what...iron deficiency. Since I started taking iron I no longer crave ice. I kid you not. One day I suddenly noticed that I was no longer putting ice in my drinks. I used to use all the ice in the freezer before!

Just saying...
