Well....

Hmm. So my big show turned out to be not so big. Quite small in fact.

The good news? I sold three times as much as any of the other vendors!
The bad news? I was the *only* vendor who sold anything, and it was only three items.

The good news? I have about 200 new pieces of jewelry to list for sale now!
The bad news? I worked my tail off and had many sleepless nights over the past few weeks preparing for this.

The good news? I didn't get my hopes up too high so it wasn't as much a letdown as it could've been.
The bad news? It still stinks to only sell 3 items.

Ah well. Live and learn.
The good news? I'm still loved. :)

Emma at bagladee has given me the Proximadade (or Friendship Around The World) Award. This award it highlights blogs that are special in some way and extend the hand of friendship around the world. Thank you so much Emma!!

I'm passing the award on to Jill at One Wired Woman.

I also received the Blogging BFF award from my blogging BFF Heidi. Ironic, no? We like to keep it obvious like that. haha! Heidi rocks for a good belly laugh (including old lady crying sounds) when I need one. Thank you Heidi!!

I'm passing this on to Melissa at The Perfect Trio. Melissa is adorable, an amazing mom, a great friend even away from blogging, a Disney fanatic, and a darn good clothing designer too! Here is her etsy shop.

And finally, Valerie at The Crafting Freak tagged me to tell 7 random things about myself. I'm not sure there are 7 things y'all don't know yet!! But I'll try...
1. I'm dreadfully boring. Really, I am.
2. I think I have pretty feet. When I keep them pedicured anyway.
3. I frequently forget my age. I'm 31. I think.
4. I wish I could hire a maid.
5. I cry easily. Happy, sad, scared, frustrated, you name it - it'll bring me to tears.
6. We sold our flip house. But I haven't mentioned it here because we haven't closed on it yet and I have this secret fear that something will fall through at the last minute. We close at the end of the month.
7. Our home has been broken into while we were in it. It was one of my earliest blog posts.

Whew! I did it. Now I'm tagging Amelia. She's just getting back into blogging after a break and I'm sure she needs more to blog about. Haha!!

Sorry about your show. At least you have a positive outlook about it and lots of new pieces to list!

I'm sorry the show didn't work out as planned. That's exactly what I fear will happen if I were to do one. Hopefully all that stock will be a boon for gift sales over the next couple of months, though.

I've had that same experience...at a small neighborhood festival. People kept walking up from the surrounding streets, looking around and saying, oh, I didn't know there were going to be arts and stuff to buy...no one brought any money.
