Done. So done.

We are DONE with the flip house!! YAY!!!!! It's sold, the papers are signed and we are so done with that thing. What a relief.

It's a lot of fun but soooooo much work too. We've worked on it about 5 days a week since March. And now we can relax and breathe again for a bit.

Now for the loads of pictures I owe you. I've had so many people emailing about them, so thank you for being patient! (I was having camera troubles and we were in a rush to make an appointment so the "after" pictures aren't nearly as good as I'd like, but you can get the idea.)

The living room before -

and after. We ripped up the olive green carpet, refinished the hardwood floors, and painted the walls a color called Antique Lace. There also was no overhead lighting so we added that in.

The dining room before -

and after. I got a different angle, darn it! I'm standing in the doorway of the kitchen looking back toward the living room.

Walk on into the kitchen, then -

The kitchen floor before -

midway -

and after. New countertops, new flooring, new paint on the walls and all the cabinets, new sink, new lighting, new garbage disposal. The door on the right leads to the basement stairs and to the garage.

Standing at the other end of the kitchen, looking back toward the living and dining rooms.

and now.

The bathroom before-

and after. New toilet, new flooring, new vanity, new walls, new shower, new light fixture, new mirror. The color is a soft peanut shell color, but I didn't capture it.

The bedrooms are pretty basic. We didn't have to do much to them other than spruce them up a bit. New paint on the walls (soft peanut shell color), new light fixtures, pull up the carpet, and refinish the hardwood floors.
Before - (nice orange crushed velvet drapes, huh?)

and after.

Second bedroom before -

and after.

The stairs to the basement before. You can kind of see how dirty the entire house was. And there was a fair amount of termite damage to be repaired so at one point all of this was torn out and there were no walls here at all.

midway - lots of work went into this area. It took weeks.

and after. Walls were all rebuilt, carpet put in, painted, handrail refinished, and new lighting.

The large family room in the basement before -

and after. The wall on the left was rebuilt due to termite damage, scraped up the awful flooring (that took forever!), put in carpet, painted the walls, added a doorway on the far left. That leads to what *can* be another bedroom. We left it unfinished, but it could easily be finished out for an additional room.

To take the above pictures, I was standing in the doorway of another room. Does anyone remember this one?
Before -

and after.

At the bottom of the stairs, this is what we saw when we bought the house. It was just a big open room, hot water unit, a free standing shower, and behind that red and black vinyl curtain there was a toilet.

And after. We built in the bathroom, added in a nice shower, vanity, flooring, lighting, etc. The doorway on the left there leads to a laundry room that we walled in, and then into *another* storage room. We didn't do any work to it so I have no pictures, but there is a lot of room in this house to store things!

The outside of the house - we scraped and painted the entire thing, pulled the shudders down and powerwashed them, did a bit of landscaping in front. It is SUCH a cute house!! I don't have before pictures I guess, but it just looks much more fresh and clean and modern now. Oh, we replaced the front door too.

And just next door is the first house we flipped!

There was a lot more work that I didn't get pictures of and show here. It is so much work, but really rewarding too. And now that this one has been sold for 2 days, we're on the hunt for a new one to flip. haha!

Holy cupcakes!

It looks amazing!

I wish you guys had done the flip on our house. They guy we bought from cut so many corners, I'm surprised the house isn't round. Not a project goes by when his name is not cursed.

You guys are the best flippers I've seen yet!

Wow, that looks amazing! You did a great job. The white cabinets in the kitchen really brighten it up!

My boyfriend and I are about to start a renovation project. But we're not flipping it, we're going to live in it eventually. Hopefully it will turn out as great as yours did.

Amazing job!! Each 'after' pic is so calming--especially after looking closely at the 'before' shots. This is definitely a job to be proud of!

I wish I had your imagination to see the rooms for what they could be and not for what they are!
