Pouting...

My computer died. :( I stomped and pouted and it didn't do any good.

D.E.A.D. No power, nothing. It goes to the computer doctor later today and I'm hoping the stuff in it can at least be saved because goodness knows I've never once backed anything up to a disc. Yikes.

For now I'm on my kids' prehistoric computer that takes no less than 32 seconds to load each page. Do you know how long that would make checking 73 emails? I don't but it's a long time. So if you're waiting to hear from me, please be patient and I promise I'll get to you.

Maybe the computer doctor will perform a miracle on my real computer and have it back up and running in no time. Maybe.

Crud. I'm still on Franken-laptop while I wait for Hubby to give mine a brain transplant...

I'm sending you every "fix it, fix it, for the love of cupcakes just FIX IT" vibe I can.

Yuck! If there's no power, it could be as easy as the fuse in the power supply (or the power supply itself). I hope it's an easy fix!
You need to invest in an external hard drive and always make a copy of your stuff on there!!! That way you can plug it into any computer and have it. They are small and easy to take with you too :)

Bummer!! I understand. You don't realize how dependant we are on our computers until we don't have them.
When you get a chance check out my blog, the twins have arrived. HEY!!

Have hope! When my computer crashed last spring my computer doc was able to save all of my photos and documents (as well as every cached webpage photo we had seen and never deleted). They all have numerical names and are a pain to go through, but we still have 'em!

This is not good.

But you know? You are like the third person that I have heard something like this from tonight? I hope whatever it is, I don't catch it. Been there recently and I don't want to go back!
