Thankful

Today, I'm feeling so grateful for the little things in my life like
- a warm home
- sunshine even on a bitter cold day
- coffee with a friend (thanks friend!)
- forcing myself to take it easy this Christmas season
- my kids having no idea what they want for Christmas. This tells me that they are not being caught up in material things.
- food and clothing, despite the struggling economy
- The Boy, who makes me laugh every single morning. It's a great way to start my day.
- knowing that doing simple things like donating clothing and toys, mittens and food, can really help others enjoy life a bit more
- my blog readers who return over and over, and leave the nicest comments and emails I could imagine. You all are so appreciated!
- knowing that even though there isn't much color outside right now, these flowers will be back in the Spring.

What are you thankful for today?

I'm so thankful for my family, that I have a great job and lots of job security right now, that my mom will be in town for Christmas, and that I have a wonderful network of friends (including blogger friends!).

Family, Friends, and everything God has given me. I am so anxious for my husband to get home next Friday so we can finally be together for the holidays. I know the boys are really looking forward to daddy coming home too!
I'm thankful for the military too, even though they send my husband away at times LOL

Family and healthy children.
Recently I have heard of too many terrible things happening to families around me.

I am thankful that my nana is still fighting (she's in icu- but hanging in there!), that my husband and I have some time alone tonight, and for the 57 degrees it warmed up to today!

What a beautiful blog..Even when things are a mess, I always try and find the good..Not a winter person, but so thankful, like you, for keeping warm..The flowers are beautiful..Have my fingerprint up..it took three tries, lost power and everything went..finally made it..

I was going to start listing things I'm thankful for but decided to keep it short (someone once said I tend to be wordy ;-) ) and simply say "I'm thankful".
