He's still here.

No, Bad Baby hasn't left. I've had several emails asking if he's turned into Good Baby. But no, he hasn't.

Have you ever wondered what you get when you mix BBQ sauce and Elmer's glue on your Bob The Builder plate? He has.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you climbed on top of the stove and got the 10" serrated bread knife and tried to cut bread? He has.

Huge gash in his finger.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to climb on top of the back of the toilet and get into the medicine cabinet? There are lots of cool looking bottles and while some of the lids are tricky, they can still be opened.
One of them said "Stool Softener" on the front and although he doesn't read, that's the one that caught his eye to try.

Yeah.
He did.
I didn't even know I had them in there from after childbirth.

I immediately looked them up online to see if I needed to call poison control or something and found that they're really not dangerous. But they do have a horrible bitter taste.

He gagged and cried and slobbered for 30 minutes while scraping his tongue.
It must've been REALLY awful.

*sigh*

Fun times, fun times.

The winner of the Wrappuchino giveaway is Melanie of Whimsical Creations, according to the Random Number Generator. Congratulations!

I love this kid!

I guess now would be the time to put baby locks on everything. I never had to use them, but I didn't give birth to a genius either. :-)

That is too funny. My son is 13 and still into everything. :) I would like to think that their curious nature will lead to a high paying job that will someday support mom and dad. hahahahahaha

Oh, I'm glad he's OK after what must have been very scary for you. Do you think the bitter taste might make him more reluctant to try other things? I know it won't stop other experiments but maybe he'll think twice before getting into cupboards for a taste exploration. One can hope...

Can't wait to work with Melanie on her Wrappuchino!

What a little stinker.....however, a CUTE litte stinker. Poor thing having to get that Stool Softner taste out of his mouth. Like another blogger said...maybe he'll have bad taste memories and won't get in the medicine cabinet again.

Hmmm... I think your bad baby sounds like my bad baby. She is often disguised as the most adorable little 23 month old on the planet... looks a lot like yours, in all his cuteness!

Unfortunately, my bad baby ended up in the ER for her curiosity. Glad the stool softeners weren't too bad! It was the worst night of my life!

They say that your past comes back to haunt you. Were you a bad baby too? He just looks too cute and innocent for such mischief. Hang in there, he'll soon be grown and you'll be wishing for these stressful but exciting days!

Most of my Bad Baby memories have faded, now that my kids are older, but they frequently surprised me with the things they came up with!
