Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
Youre a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Mr. Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating and sharing pics. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

My friend came over the other day for a playdate and I got to snap a few pictures of her fresh new baby. You can just study a newborn and see God's fingerprints all over them! The fine hair (sometimes on their backs or ears), the veins you can see through the transparent skin, their sparkly eyes, the soft little fingernails - they're just little miracles! (I'll put a few more of his pictures on my other blog, Desperately Avoiding Housework.)

Beki....There's absolutely NO fingerprint like that of a baby. Just beautiful and miraculous!

Ohhhh, how sweet! What a beautiful blessing. One of my co-workers had her baby in the wee hours of the morning today. I can't wait to meet her.

What a sweet baby. Love your photo and how you've captured his little hand. I always marvel at how tiny their little fingers can be and ohhh that fresh baby smell! Great fingerprint, Beki!

I almost forgot this week! I don't have any photos though. A baby is definitely a sign of God's amazing handiwork.

I always see God in babies, their smile, laugh, gaze - always wondering what they are looking at that I don't see.

Regarding your comment about waking up to see the sunrise - I have two little alarm clocks - my oldest I don't think has ever slept past 6:30, this morning it was 5:15 (thankfully that's unusual). We are also soooo close to the mountains, the sun has a long way to rise so it's probably later here. I took the picture at about 7:40 am.

Beki, thanks for this great Friday inspiration... we've had a rough week in our house with my husband being laid off. We remember how lucky we are to have the best things in life- family, friends, health and happiness. We just pray that all else will work itself out in the end... :)
