Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
Youre a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Mr. Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

This is an older picture, but as I was fighting back tears of frustration today I closed my eyes and said a little prayer that God would help me post a Fingerprint Friday. I opened up the photo folder and found this picture right away. The Baby. He is a huge source of frustration for me, but he is SUCH a blessing too! Since The Man and I were "done" having kids, it's quite obvious that God's fingerprints were on the making of this one. We didn't pray for him, we didn't expect him, but he was given to us. And boy do we love him!! Before The Baby came along our family was a bit vanilla, and now it's swirled-cinnamon-mocha-choco-latte! He definitely adds a kick to our lives.

Love that picture, he is a cutie. Our little one likes to challenge me as well. Usually I enjoy it. He makes me stretch my boundaries in a good way. This last weekend while we were jeeping he kept asking why one day for everything I asked him to do (and sometimes for safety I just need him to listen) as I was getting frustrated at one point he rephrased it and said but I want to know why you want me to do it. I realized he wasn't trying to questioning authority or negotiate out of doing it, he was trying to gain understanding. Totally changed my perspective.

After infinite infertility hoops I jumped through, my Wild Man was a surprise, too, and like yours, is STILL surprising and entertaining us. Boy, doesn't God just absolutely KNOW what he's doing?!! Now THAT's a fingerprint! :)

Hi is adorable. I smile when I think of your picture of him against the wall that he had 'decorated' himself :) I see similar smirks and grins from my 6 mos old and can't wait to see all of the 'trouble' he will get into too... happy Friday!

That's sweet!
Hard to remember sometimes that the most difficult of children can become the MOST AMAZING adults if we stick with them and encourage them.
Such a cute pic, too!

Thank you everyone for the kind comments! :)

Kari, I hope you check back in - I tried to leave a comment on your blog but couldn't. And there was no way to email or contact you.
I just wanted to say thank you for joining in Fingerprint Friday and I didn't want you to think your post was ignored. :) I just couldn't reply...
