Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
Youre a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Mr. Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

I wish I had something profound or witty to say today but I just don't.
I'm wiped out.
My kids have all been just horrible this week and I'm exhausted emotionally.
But I am still grateful for the blessing of having kids, having the opportunity to stay home with them, and occasionally a blissful moment like this one where The Baby fell asleep face down on the couch.

I am blessed.
**Mr. Linky is not working at the moment, so just leave your link in the comments section for now. Thanks!**

I am also blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids, but feel equally blessed when they are sleeping. =) Thanks for the great picture!! Have a great Mother's Day!!

Sometimes, I would chat with myself..Yep, thought the kids would drive me off the deep end.
Then someone told me, think how the Apostles must have been a test for Christ? They were always bickering..So, I cut myself some slack and realized, I am only human and if bickering bothered Christ, guess I can get upset too.
Now tell me, isn't this good logic?ha,ha..

Ah, I could use a good rest on the couch myself. Had a craft show Wednesday and it always wipes me out to talk to 100s of people.
Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day!

Being able to stay at home with kids is diffently a blessing (even though it is hard work some days). And nap times can be the highlight of the whole day some days :)
May you have a great, blessed Mothers day!!!!

Don't you just wish that you could fall asleep like that sometimes?

Ah, I remember those days when I tried so hard for my son to take a nap and the relief I felt when I could take a break! Hang in there, Beki, it does get better and (I know this sounds cliche) but remember the time really does go so fast.

Without knowing to post about Gods fingerprints, I think my post today is a perfect reflection of the strong impression of Gods hands in my life.

What a cute picture! Amazing how kids just literally fall asleep wherever they are without a care in the world. Hang in there!

Beki, you are not alone (not that anyone has to tell you that...) and on those hard days (weeks? months?) I just have to tell myself that God is still strong and then cling to His promises. Last night I cried and cried because I found a huge pile of all the Mother's Day cards I bought APRIL 15 that got stuck in a very weird place and forgotten. And then I found them and it hit me that it was too late to send them on time. I was so sad and it seems a small thing, but is a micro-picture of my whole life. I almost get it right all the time, but that never getting right makes me feel like such a failure. I'm not saying you have these same issues, but that tiredness comes across-exhausted from being! I hope your weekend is restful, and that in reflecting on God's handiwork in your life you will find renewal in your faith and trust in the Spirit of Him who leads and guards at the same time.

That picture looks familiar...as does your tiredness and frustration with horrible kids.

I have so many pictures of my kids sleeping in random spots after a hard day or week...it helps to remind me that being 'horrible' is just as hard as being good.

Super cute picture. To be able to fall asleep anywhere like that. I too am a stay at home mom and I also have days or weeks when I can't wait until they are over. I also have wonderful inlaws who like to spend lots of time with their grandchild so when I am having a hard week or day they are more than happy to give me a mommy break. Hope you have a very Happy Mother's Day!

amen to last part...I think we are wired to love our children unconditionally we wouldn't make it! All the crazy things they do...only a mum can grin and bear it at times! And thank goodness for the quiet and peaceful times...and all the beautiful things they do that get us through the days!

have a great weekend and a very happy mother's day Beki!

xoxo
