Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
Youre a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Mr. Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!
---------------

I took this picture the other day and it just kept making me think.
We don't know what's ahead of us.
We don't know what the future holds.
What we see is just a tiny portion of the picture.
There is so much more than that.

We put our faith in the fact that God knows what's ahead. The road may get bumpy and rough.
But He is there.
And someday when the road ends, He'll still be there.
This is all just temporary.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Great pic and great thought. I am posting my second go round at Fingerprint Friday and I just realized that mine are always really long and sappy. I like yours so much! Thanks for letting me play!

Great picture! It would be perfect for the photography meme of "shadow shot sunday"... (if you have time to look into that, click on my profile, go to my photo blog and you'll see shadow shots and a link to that meme)

Bless You!

Beautiful post and so true. I always feel sorry for people that believe in nothing, what can they hang on to in rough times? And there is no one on earth, that doesn't have rough times.
Having trouble linking up..but you know I am here.
Happy Fingerprint Friday.

I love that picture! It really pulls your eye down the road with depth, and your fingerprint to go with it is perfect!! It's so true, we all have hills to climb that seem to never end, but God will get us over them!

Thanks so much for the uplifting and encouraging thoughts. The unknown is frightening but there is comfort in knowing that the Lord is holding our hand and carrying us.

love, love, LOVE this post. (did i mention love?)

we have a set of train tracks close to our neighborhood and from time to time when i cross them, i take just a moment to find the point where they disappear on the horizon. inexplicably, i'm left with the same feeling elicited by your photograph here, the wondering where they lead, the surmising of all the Somewheres and Far Off Places i may never see.

so it's nice to know God's there. he inhabits all the Elsewheres for me, and my Right Here as well.

:)
