Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Mr. Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

It's an old picture and a fuzzy picture, but I still like it.
This week, I got to go shopping. Alone. Just me, God, and coffee.
And it was so good! It was the perfect time to rejuvinate my spirit and allow me to come home refreshed.

When you have 17 kids running around you all day (okay, just 3 really) it can be hard to focus on God and find a peaceful moment.

But it's amazing what a few hours away will do for a soul.
30 minutes of drive time, listening to Christian radio and chatting with God did wonders for me.
That's where I saw God's fingerprints this week - in the silence and rest of a solo shopping trip.

Sounds wonderful! It is so important to take care of ourselves! We run out of steam otherwise.

I know what you mean girl! Even just 30 minutes of Christian radio and my conversations with God, definitely do good for my soul!! Usually happens in the car for me too! :)

I was reading and when it came to 17 children..I was in shock, till I kept on reading. My thoughts were, when did that happen? Have to admit, wasn't really awake, till I read that line. Coffee or no coffee..I got a jolt.
Happy Fingerprint Friday.

You SOOOOO need this as a mom to young kiddos! Wish we lived closer. Bo and I would watch them all day and let you go play!!!! I needed that so much as a young mother but never had the family support and my friends were usually as frazzled as I was. The rare occasion I did get out felt so rejuvenating. Glad you got a little time!! Wish we could give you more!

It's good to have some time alone with your thoughts.

I love going shopping without the family. So nice. So peaceful. So expensive. I spend more time leisurely walking the aisles and find so many things that I never knew I needed until that very moment. Puts a smile on my face just thinking about it.
