Because you're so sweet...

***This giveaway is now closed. Thank you to the participants!***

I have a feeling you've done nice things for other people lately.
Am I right?
You've baked cookies, decorated your nest, visited your kids' class to help, volunteered at church, provided warm meals for your family...
Given a little surprise present to someone, "just because"...
Given your kids clean clothes to wear to school... (okay so maybe their socks didn't match. Whatever.)
Offered a compliment to someone...
Provided a shoulder to cry on and a warm hug to a person in need...
Sent Christmas cards to loved ones...

You are a woman. You are a giver.
But sometimes you need a little refuel for yourself.

So, I'm offering you this necklace.
For YOU. When you wear it, I want you to remember that your life is sweet.
You are a blessed and beautiful person.

(And really, how often can an adult wear cupcakes and get away with it?
Now you can.)

Want to enter?

1. Leave a comment telling me your favorite way to unwind or refuel your spirit.
2. Tweet, facebook, or blog about it for additional entries. (make sure to leave a seperate comment for these.)
3. Sit back and hope that you're the random winner, chosen on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Enjoy this Holiday Season, you sweet ladies!

i do a few things to unwind and refuel...
i find writing wonderfully theraputic...it could be writing on my blog, writing to a friend, or simply just writing in a journal... it always "frees" my mind and soul of things that kind of "get stuck" when i'm uptight...

i also LOVE love LOVE blasting music on repeat and singing really loud...specifically certain songs...one of my favorites to do this to is Song for a Winter's Night by Sarah McLachlan :)

but, now that i'm a momma, seeing my daughter's face and holding her tight provides instant relief and a very quick refueling... :)

Sara said...

during the holidays, I open my Christmas cards at night, when the kids are in bed...and I drink my tea, and take my time and enjoy all the pictures...

To unwind I chat with friends on FB, visit my favorite blogs or curl up with a good book or a favorite TV show. To really refuel I schedule a massage (which RARELY happens) or escape for adult time with hubby or the girls.

Hi Beki:
There are two ways that I like to unwind...one is riding my Harley and the other is to swim in our pool. On my bike, I can just ride the wind and feel the open road beneath my wheels. In the pool, I feel buoyed, renewed and comforted by the water.
Thanks for offering this wonderful giveaway. I'll cross my fingers!
Hugs,
Donna
