Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the MckLinky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please sign in only if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."--Psalms 46:10

I'm being pulled in too many different directions.
Trying to do too many things.
And I just need to be still.
Be still and know.

Beki...I've been gone way too long!

That is one of my all-time favorite psalms.

I know the feeling of being pulled in too many directions. You are right. Sometimes we just need to be still and listen to God.

That is such an incredible verse. AND a hard one. It seems so simple - and it is - but so hard to be still when times are crazy. The verse is so neat because, for me, when I say it to myself, it causes me to actually be still - like stiffen up! Ha! I love that just saying the verse has a literal reaction that helps to really be still and know.

What an adorable doggie! Thanks for the reminder to take time to slow down and BREATHE and praise God.

We all need to be still like this each day. Some days (weeks, months) it seems impossible to find a few minutes to be quiet with Him. Our pastor spoke a few Sundays ago about how our busyness keeps us from having that quiet time we need. If we don't have that quiet time, we can't be refreshed and renewed in Him. Hoping you find time to hide in a closet and sort it all with Him until you can come out and tackle the giants one at a time. ♥

Love the picture..You know, sometimes we think we can do everything and then realize we are human..In my old age, it finally sunk in.
