Confessions.

I wear my sunglasses on my head because I think it looks cooler than a headband.

I sneak veggie crumbles into any dish I'm preparing with hamburger. My family has no idea.

I watch QVC to fall asleep at night.

I haven't exercised in months.

When the milk jug starts getting low, I add water. It gives me a few extra days before I have to grocery shop.

I have thousands of beads. When I die, I'll be known as the crazy bead lady.

I get sad when I get to the bottom of my iced coffee.

Sometimes when that happens, I pout a little, even though I'm all alone at my desk.

I had big plans to do a whole "cooking my way through The Pioneer Woman's cookbook" a la Julie and Julia. But I was waiting until we lived at the farm. And we still don't live at the farm. And now that I've waited so long, I've seen other bloggers doing it. So that idea is shot.

I have over 12,000 emails in my inbox.

That's an improvement from a couple months ago when it was over 15,000.

This is my idea of the perfect summer day.
Clothes drying on the line.
Iced tea.
Country Living magazine.
Soaking up the sun.

Anything you want to confess? Go for it. It'll just stay between me and you.

p.s. If you haven't entered the current jewelry giveaway, you still can!

p.p.s. The tea must be sweet.

I just can't look at you the same way anymore. *snort*

I ate all of my daughter's Whopper Eggs from Easter. She really should have found a better place to hide them.

I also where my sunglasses on my head in lieu of a headband. It is MUCH cooler. :)

I used to wear my sunglasses on top of my head but now that I have to wear regular glasses it looks kinda silly.

Yeah, that looks like a perfect day to me too. What would I do without iced tea?

Yep, that's a birthmark on my leg!

I too eat my kids Easter candy! My 4 yr old & I have even snuck into the 12 yr old's room to raid a tiny part of her stash! He told her this Easter when we were shopping at Walgreens & looking at the candy. She laughed!!

I could eat a whole bag of Reeses Pieces, not the little bags, the big ones!! I hide gum in my desk drawer so the kids won't find it!

Yeah confession or not, I'm loving the veggie crumbles idea! and maybe the milk one will come in to play in this house too! :-)

12,000 e-mails?! WOW. I get all panic-y when my inbox gets over 50!

I've never thought to add water to the milk to make it last a little longer. I hate when I run out just a day or two before pay day- when I do my official huge grocery shopping trips. I wonder how much water you can add before someone would notice....

Someone's already done "The Pioneer Woman" like Julie and Julia? Well, darn. I thought I would be the only one to think like that. Procrastination just gets in the way too much! :)

i love confessions! how fun!!! 12,000 - girl, that would drive me crazy! i always have to keep my inbox empty otherwise i feel like there's stuff hanging over my head. your veggie crumble idea is superb! if you keep doing that you'll never have to exercise, right?! very frugal milk idea... i might have to give it a try! my confession: i pee my pants all the time when i'm pregnant... i just can't help it. it's especially bad when i start laughing.

Love this! I think you and I would get along fab IRL simply because I too wear my sunglasses on my head, but mainly because I will lose them if I don't. And I also get sad and pout a little when I get to the bottom of my iced coffee.

Oh, and I am a born and bred Texan and don't like sweet tea...I know! I can hear the gasps now...;)

Love your confessions! I am getting WAY to close to the bottom of my mocha frappuccino now!! I love hanging out clothes but here there is too much pollen! Enjoy your magazine!!

I confess that I don't know what "veggie crumble" is, something found only in Kansas?

I also confess that I had a moment of envy seeing the picture, really relaxation with magazine reading and a drink with ice and a straw and painted toes? Then I convinced myself it had to be a photo op....really, you can't possibly have time to put your feet up. Do you?

Thanks for your comment and I love your confessions! I confess, I also watch QVC or HSN to fall asleep sometimes, have been known to pout, and bout MtAoFC to do the whole Julie/Julia project but haven't started. Hoenstyl, I'm afraid of what all the butter would do. And yes, Cameron D. seems like the coolest!

Veggie crumbles are like a beef substitute... ?? I buy them in the frozen section. Vegetarians use them in chili and other things. It looks just like beef and tastes very close, but it's all veggie!

And I really do relax. :) About once a week or so I take an hour to do exactly this - browse magazines, put my feet up, polish my toes, or whatever.

I wish I had a clothesline!!!!

My confessions: I sit here at the computer too much reading emails, blogs, and Facebook. And I have a serious addiction to dark chocolate. :)

Very fun! If I start confessing - there will be a whole new blog in your comments =p

Of course the tea must be sweet!
I was exercising and had cut out soda, but have had three or more sodas in the last couple of days and haven't seen Jillian Michaels in four days.
I was so frustrated with my little girl tonight at bedtime that I wanted to stick her outside to sleep. (That is putting it mildly.)
I cooked a relatively normal dinner for the first time in a week tonight.
BUT...I have been getting up each and every day with a will to move forward. I think that's grace. :)

My perfect weekend is going to the beach so all the guys and the kids are happy snorkeling, kayaking, sailing and lounging around. My mom, sisters and I are inside the house doing crafts, ATCs, etc. I happily finished a collage this weekend because we were at the beach!

I am addicted to Coca-Cola. I keep trying to switch to Coke Zero . . . I keep falling back into the lovely, fizzy, wonderfullness that is coke. Also, living in Southern California I can get Mexican Coca-Cola - in a glass bottle and made with SUGAR not Corn Syrup, um . . . yumminess.

Love your clothes on the line... I want to dry clothes on the line but they would all be yellow from the pollen.

Confession: I am in my studio, supposedly doing a small painting for a garden basket for a benefit raffle...instead, I am reading blogs and wishing that I had clothes on the line, sweet tea in my hand and red polish on my toes!

Girl, you just make me smile!

I love juicy confessions! I have to admit I do the same thing with my reading glasses. I have lots of them to match outfits, even some animal print ones. They make great headbands and I always know where they are!

I must confess that I'm jealous.

Not jealous because you got to lounge in the sun and read . . .

but jealous because you don't have any gross spider veins around your ankles like I do!!!

Today I gave in when my son asked to eat at Costco after a shopping trip.

One child ate 1/2 a hot dog bun and the other ate 6 french fries.

You made me smile! The milk thing is a good idea, esp if you are running low in the morning when everyone wants breakfast. I once did that with a bottle of red wine - no one noticed!

I wear my sun glasses on my head because I forget they're there. I even sang in a musical performance last year with my sunglasses on my head. No one could cue me because it was too late to do anything about it. Okay. I just confessed it. Just keep it between you and me and the 1500 people in the audience that night. Maybe this should be included in my "What Not to Wear" post that's coming up this week!

My friend and I were just arguing about sweet tea vs. regular tea. I'm like...you live in California...we don't drink our tea sweet! She lived in SC for a few years...she was converted....

Confession...I always save myself the biggest piece of pie/cake...whatever...even over my husband & kids. Shhhhh...don't tell them please...they still don't know:):)

Happy Day!!

I love your confesions entry. Very cute, very telling. You're my kinda gal, except for the sweet tea...I like mine a little sweet...not like you find it in the south. My hubby and daughter love it, though.
