You're Beautiful.

Maybe you think you have too many gray hairs.
You're beautiful.

Maybe you pour your heart and soul into blogging and get little to no reponse.
You're still beautiful.

Maybe your skin doesn't look like it once did.
You're beautiful.

Maybe you have struggled to build your small business, but still only have a handful of followers on facebook or twitter.
Doesn't matter. You're beautiful.

Maybe you didn't get to go to the cool blog conference everyone else got to attend, because of finances or childcare.
Oh well. You're beautiful.

Maybe you've been stepped on or pushed down by people you cared about.
You're beautiful.

Maybe you've looked back at old photos of yourself and can't believe how thin you were.
It's okay. You're beautiful.

Maybe you feel trapped in a lonely world as a stay-at-home-mom.
You're beautiful.

Maybe you feel like you're the only traditional wife left in your community.
It's alright. You're beautiful.

You are beautiful. Chosen, cherished, designed by God.
Sacred. Loved. Treasured.
If He cares enough to make even the wildflowers lovely, how much more care has He put into creating you?

Believe it. Own it!

Thanks for posting this Beki! I have been struggling a lot in the past few weeks and needed to read this :) A few weeks ago the ladies at my church did Beth Moores bible study, Stepping Up, its about the Psalms of ascent, there are 15, and they rock! Anyways she mentioned in the begining of the study to start your day and your bible study praying face down, as in get down on the floor and pray. I thought this was silly at first. So on my first night of study I did it and guess what? I love it! I can't pray any other way! It is so humbling and I feel so much more closer to God when I pray like this! I am glad God let me find your blog Beki :) Ok does this sound like a random comment, ha ha!

Ok, can you read my mind? Cuz sooo many of those are exactly what I have been thinking the last few days. Well, except the blog conference one. Not anywhere near ready for something like that.
