Why? Because I'm Blessed. So amazingly blessed.
Blessed with hot coffee. A roof. Windows. Blankets. Pictures on my walls.
Kids, dogs, friends... so blessed!
Obviously much of Japan is telling a different story now though.
No roof, no windows, lost pets, lost children, loss of normalcy.
And while I'd love to sit in my sweet little office, look at sunrises and deer, and pretend to not know what's going on over there, I do.
I know exactly what's going on and it hurts my heart.
Some of you might remember after the Haiti disaster that The Rusted Chain donated $10 from every Blessed necklace sold, to help. In total, we were able to donate over $3,000.
And here we go again. $10 from every Blessed necklace will go to World Vision to help Japan's earthquake and tsunami victims. This is a wonderful organization that we feel good about, has great charity ratings, and is established and trustworthy.

Am I scared? Yep.
Am I secretly not wanting to make the commitment? Yep.
But I am called.
Bless - a favor or gift bestowed by God, thereby bringing happiness.
to bestow good of any kind upon
If you can't buy a necklace, or aren't interested, I completely understand.
But will you please help spread the word and pray?
That alone will help the people of Japan.

You look beautiful today. Has anyone told you that yet?

You are amazing Beki! May God bless your sells and bring them in from the north, south east and west in Jesus name.
I will be praying for your adventure and all those in Janpan and those who are effected by the events of the past week.

Beki, you are so good and so faithful. This is awesome. I have flights booked to Japan for the end of April but I can't think of anything less appropriate than being there as a tourist right now.
