Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join:

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants.
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please sign in only if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week.

Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3 (NLT)

I love this blog post!
I've definitely always seen God's fingerprints the most through nature, and children. I have a younger brother who was diagnosed almost 14 years ago, when he was 2, with Autism. I was 10 at the time, so I was able to understand a lot of what was going on at the time, and had the privilege of growing up learning about special needs and, because of my little brother, seeing all of the abilities and special attributes in everyone, regardless of individual "handicaps" or "disabilities."
I now consider myself truly blessed and privileged to get to work with children who have special needs! I am an IA in the special education department at a local elementary school, and on a daily basis, I get to see God's fingerprints each and everytime I look at the children I get to work with! Most of them are on the autism spectrum, but no two children I work with are the same, whatsoever! It's been so amazing to me to get to see how each one of them communicates differently (most of them are non-verbal, but one of the them talks by typing on a keyboard, another with picture cards, and yet another with a special portable electronic word bank that acts as her "voice" when she pushes buttons to speak). I also love seeing how they interact with each other, as well as seeing them learn new skills and concepts!
Each one of them are so special to me, and not because they have "special needs," but because I can see God's fingerprints on each one of them! I know He's created each one of them for a special purpose and they will accomplish amazing things--I believe it!
