A little surprise...

We've been gone.

Last week we went on a safari.

Okay that's not entirely true.
We took the kids on a surprise trip.
The first day, we went to Silver Dollar City in Missouri.
I didn't even take my camera so I don't have a single photo to share.

Then that night, after their baths and right before bed, we told them that they were flying out to Disney the next morning!

We had a superhero on the plane with us.

One of my favorite quotes.

I have lots more photos to share with you, but today I'm focused on tackling the seemingly impossible mountain of work that's built up.
11 days away creates a scary amount of work.

***Do you have a favorite vacation spot?

WOW! How exciting! I can't believe you surprised them, too cool! We went to Disney World for the first time this summer and LOVED it. I think it has become my favorite vacation. We are are looking forward to going back in a few years!

We rarely go on vacation. We did go to Branson a few summers ago and had a blast! Have you been to the Titanic museum there? It was very fun!

Welcome back! I LOVE the parrot photo, so much fun. I have a question about your Christmas ornaments but I will save it for when you are less crazy... except now I've kinda said it already! Eager? Me?

We LOVE Disney, took our kids for the first time last year and we went back this past April with my dad. We're planning trip #3 next March/April but airfare is outrageous right now! If it doesn't come down, we'll have to drive (from Michigan-ick!). Do you pull your kids out of school for that? Mine have far too much homework for us to take them outside of school breaks and I refuse to go in the humid summer. I was just curious is all.

Ruth, email me with your idea!!

Toni, yes we pulled them from school for 4 days. But we worked the trip with a Fall break and a couple of weekends so they didn't end up missing much school at all.

Oh that's so cool about having a Fall break...didn't realize that. Course you guys in the South usually go back to school in August where we start after Labor Day here in Michigan. How awesome! You guys get Parent of the Year awards! Oh and so sorry about my comment posting three times, I have NO idea how that happened!
