Sunshine confessions.

*My idea of the perfect day would be a beach, plenty of fruity drinks, people watching and a laptop to play on pinterest.

*The truth is, I am pasty white, burn too easily, and would be embarrassed in a swimsuit...

*I'm more content at 35 than I've ever been in my life. I'm old and okay with it.

*I started using Oil of Olay when I was 12. I took that whole "You're never too young to start caring for your skin" thing too far.

*I still use face cream every night. But I have wrinkles. I don't think it works.

*My house needs cleaned.

*Sometimes when God reveals things to me, I cry.

*I love working hard. But there's a lot to be said for relaxation too.

*My toenails are turquoise.

*When I die, people will refer to me as The Crazy Magazine Lady. If you could only see the stack next to my bed.

*I'm a pretty good cook. But I don't like to in a messy kitchen or when it's blazing hot outside, so most of the summer I just don't cook.

*I sometimes wonder if I'll ever really hit that "goal weight".

*If iced coffee didn't have calories, I'd drink it 5 or 6 times a day. But I like to load it up with froo-froo creamers.

*I love crisp white sheets because it feels like I'm sleeping in a hotel.

*My crisp white sheets don't love self tanning lotion. Gross.

*My heroes in the business world are nothing like me, but I learn so much from them.

*It's really the sweet simple things in life that are the most enjoyable.

*I have a constant fear of pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and achieving success, but it's motivating.

*Sunflowers are just a bit of sunshine on a stem. Some of these are 10-12 feet tall.

*I put some funky editing on some of these, which seemed like a good idea at the time. Now I'm second guessing that.

These orange ones are called Mexican Sunflowers and I'm in love with them.

Two things:
1. lovin' the flowers
2. McDonald's SUGAR FREE vanilla iced coffee. Less guilt, and DELICIOUS!

That is all. (Hugs!)

Loved the pictures of your sunflowers...especially the Mexican ones!

You made me thirsty for Iced Coffee! Guess I will go fix one. (Which will be a rare special treat since I really don't drink coffee because it gives me heartburn!) Ha!

Have a great Saturday!

Fun post. I love randomness. I don't love coffee, iced or otherwise. Love sunflowers and your pictures of them. I used to be something of a magazine junkie. I've pared back significantly. Thanks for sharing!

I know if you lived in my home town in Ontario, Canada. We would be bestie's. My husband calls me the magazine queen, although I have cut back a bit. I love Starbucks, probably my favourite thing to do. Get a Green Tea Latte and read all the magazines. Enjoy you weekend. "0)
