Christmas and The Pioneer Woman! {giveaway!}

Ree was so sweet recently to send me a copy of her new cookbook, A Year of Holidays.

It is amazing!! It is one of the most beautiful cookbooks I think I've ever seen. Seriously.
It's HUGE! And heartwarming. And inspirational. And made me teary eyed. (cookbooks shouldn't make people tear up, but this one did.)
Some recipes are incredibly simple. (like chocolate dipped marshmallows.) And some are much fancier, but of course Ree lays it all out in a way that lets you know you can do it too. (like prime rib. and quail.)

I have loved all of her cookbooks, but this one is just on a whole new level. It will be loved and used for years and years.
It covers every possible holiday and is full of tips for timing and making your meal planning easier.

Barn Kitty jumped up while I was trying to snap photos.

Lilo just wanted the food on the pages to come to reality so she could eat it all.

For Christmas I just want a big bowl of Burgundy Mushrooms. No meat required. Just shrooms.

And maybe a side of guacamole. Because there's never enough guac in my life. Ever.

And I'll finish with Caramel Apple Sweet Rolls. Because they have fruit in them, and I'm all about having a healthy balanced diet.

And guess what? Ree has agreed to sign a cookbook and ship it straight to you!
How cool is that?!
As great as that is, we will also include one of our new Christmas ornaments from The Rusted Chain! (you choose Santa or Snowman.)

So you can win a signed cookbook from The Pioneer Woman and a custom ornament from The Rusted Chain!!

To enter: Leave a comment on this blog answering "What is your favorite Christmas food?"
(for additional entries: Tweet this, Facebook it, or Pin one of the above images to pinterest. Please leave additional comments for each thing you do.)

We'll draw a random winner this Friday.
(I'm not paid or compensated in any way to do this giveaway. I wasn't asked to do it. I just love food, Ree, Christmas, and The Rusted Chain. The end.)

I love, love my mom's poppyseed rolls! She always pretty much made them at Christmas, even though they aren't technically a "Christmas food". We saw Ree in Wichita several weeks ago, and she was really excited about this cookbook, and so am I!!

Lori said...

Holy comments batman! Well it is really hard for me to pick just one fav Christmas food because there is turkey and stuffing ~ mmmm stuffing but then there is all the other good stuff like shortbread cookies and peanut butter balls and peanut brittle ~ you know all the stuff you only dare to make once a year. And yes ~ eggnog too ~ almost forgot about that one!
